The Approach G12 features a 1.3-inch high-resolution monochrome display designed to remain easy to read in bright sunlight. Its Big Numbers mode enlarges the most important distance information, allowing you to check the yardage quickly while walking or preparing for your next shot.

More than 42,000 golf courses worldwide are available on the device. Once a GPS signal has been acquired, the Approach G12 identifies nearby courses and helps you start your round. It automatically advances to the next hole as you move around the course. In addition to green distances, the handheld provides information about hazards, layups and doglegs, giving you a clearer understanding of the challenges ahead.

With Green View, you can view the shape of the green and manually reposition the flag to obtain a more specific distance estimate. The device also includes a digital scorecard, shot-distance measurement and the option to record useful round statistics. This makes it more than a simple distance display: it is a practical companion for monitoring your performance over time.

When paired with a compatible smartphone through the Garmin Golf app, the Approach G12 can synchronise scorecards, upload round information and receive software and course updates. The device is also compatible with optional Garmin Approach CT10 club tracking sensors, allowing shots, locations, distances and club selections to be recorded automatically when a full sensor set is used.

Battery life of up to 30 hours in GPS mode allows you to complete several rounds before recharging. Its IPX7 water rating provides protection against rain and accidental exposure to water, making the Approach G12 a dependable choice in changing conditions.
