TaylorMade Spider ZT Counterbalance Putter
Extended product description
The TaylorMade Spider ZT Counterbalance Putter is built for golfers seeking maximum stability, control and repeatability in their putting stroke. Featuring a slightly longer shaft and heavier head, this counterbalance design significantly increases MOI, delivering exceptional consistency on the greens.
The foundation of the Spider ZT combines high-density 303 stainless steel at the front with lightweight 6061 aerospace aluminum at the back, enabling extreme perimeter weighting and precise CG placement for enhanced stability.
Its low-torque design positions the KBS shaft directly in line with the center of gravity, incorporating slight forward shaft lean and 25 mm of onset behind the leading edge. This creates a toe-up orientation that improves stability throughout the stroke. The SuperStroke grip is positioned to encourage forward shaft lean, reducing added loft at impact.
The improved cambered sole accommodates a wide range of player types. The sole curvature works with the toe-ward hosel configuration to promote proper alignment and flush contact with the ground at address.
The reimagined Premium Milled True Path™ Alignment features thin milled lines the exact width of a golf ball on top of the 303 stainless steel face, allowing for easy centering and consistent alignment.
The Pure Roll™ insert, made from Surlyn and aluminum, features 45° angled grooves that promote forward roll while enhancing sound and feel.
