World Handicap System 2021

The handicap system makes golf unique. Players of different levels can play on an equal footing with and against each other thanks to their handicap. There are many golfers who enjoy improving their handicap and so it is important that there is a handicap system that everyone understands and that is accessible to all golfers.
In 2021 we will switch to the World Handicap System in the Netherlands. This new handicap system ensures that the handicap of all golfers - anywhere in the world - is calculated in the same way. We already play with the same rules and so it makes sense that there will also be one worldwide handicap system!
