LIGHT / STABILITY ZONES

For the first time, COBRA optimised this iron with 2 pieces of lightweight carbon fibre into the head structure. To replace heavy steel, this is integrated into the topline and directly underneath to create a new I-beam type of construction. This is lighter in total mass and is structurally sound, allowing Cobra engineers to reposition discretionary weight low into the to design to increase ball speed and launch in the 4-7iron. To deliver more stability the head has SpeedBack shaping with a wider body around the perimeter. This helps to lower CG and increase MOI to provide more forgiveness and accuracy.

POWER / FEEL ZONES

Most golfers strive for more distance and that's why Cobra Golf has continued with their number one performance attribute PWRSHELL Technology. The new forged PWRSHELL face in the SpeedZone iron features an updated E9 face structure that helps to lower the CG and create more return through a deeper undercut speed channel. Offering increased speed and higher launch even on stronger lofted irons. Feel is also very important and to optimise this Cobra have inserted a co-moulded medallion system that dampens vibration for improved feel and sound, even on miss-hit golf shots.

SPIN ZONE

This set has been fully optimised to give you the best performance through 100% CNC milling and progressive spin technology. The 4-6 irons feature v-grooves to reduce the amount of spin for improved distance performance. 7-PW irons have u-grooves for an optimised spin for better control, plus the wedges have more aggressive grooves for maximum control around the greens.
